Effective May 4, 2022, USCIS will extend employment authorization documents (EAD) validity for an additional 360 days.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that effective May 4, 2022, the Department of Homeland Security will increase the automatic extension period for Employment Authorization Documents (EADs), available to certain EAD renewal applicants, for a time period up to 540 days. – USCIS previously allowed for a 180-day extension to certain eligible categories.
