Congratulations are in order for this year's winners of the American Immigration Council's "Celebrate America" Creative Writing Contest sponsored locally by our firm. The program is led by Senior Partner, Lance Curtright with assistance from attorney, Amy Thomas who also served as a judge for the 2nd year in a row. In addition to Thomas, this year's incredible panel of judges included Christian Clark from UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures , Lee Hurtado, Writer a local "on the scene" blogger, Nina Duran editor-in-chief of La Prensa de San Antonio Newspaper, and Steve Spriester of KSAT 12 & KSAT.com. Winners got to read aloud their creative essays and heartfelt poems during a recent Naturalization Ceremony. This annual contest is open to area 5th graders from private (including homeschoolers) and public schools. We are so proud to be part of this program!
